My name is Sonja Kuusisto, and I am a certified massage therapist. I reside in the village of Yll\u00e4sj\u00e4rvi, in the heart of the beautiful Finnish Lapland, where I work as an independent entrepreneur. My practice is located in Yll\u00e4sj\u00e4rvi, but I also provide on-location services in Levi, including visits to cabins and private residences. I obtained my professional qualification as a licensed massage therapist from the Finnish Sports Massage Institute in 2015. Following my graduation, I worked as a massage therapist for several years in Spain. In 2021, I established my private practice in Yll\u00e4sj\u00e4rvi. Over the years, I have gained experience working with both fitness enthusiasts and professional athletes. However, the majority of my clients are individuals with everyday working lives. Whether you spend long hours at a desk, suffer from persistent headaches, or engage in physically demanding hobbies, I would be delighted to assist you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Basketball has been my lifelong passion; I played actively throughout my youth and continue to enjoy the sport recreationally. I also have a deep appreciation for the outdoors and love exploring the stunning fells of Lapland in my free time. My faithful companion on these adventures is my Labrador Retriever, Richard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For appointment bookings, I use Timma.fi<\/a>, a popular scheduling service in Finland. Through this platform, you can book an appointment at my practice. If you are unable to find a suitable time in the system, feel free to contact me via WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, or email, and we will find a suitable time together. I also offer a limited number of emergency appointments, which are subject to an additional fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I accept all major credit cards and cash as payment methods. Invoicing can also be arranged upon request. In Finland, professional massage therapy is exempt from value-added tax (VAT), so all prices and invoices are VAT 0%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
